Almond oil by itself will not do much. To be clear, almond oil is different from essential oils, which DO have an effect on stretch marks when used properly. Essential oils are volatile molecules that you use just 1-2 drops of, vs almond oil which is something you rub/slather on or cook with. The best way is to mix them together.
For stretch marks, use a mixture of 1 teaspoon of almond oil with 1 drop of juniper essential oil, 1 drop of lemon essential oil, 1 drop of geranium essential oil, and 1 drop of grapefruit essential oil, or any combination of these that you can find. Do not use more than 4 drops total. Rub this mixture *after* your post-workout shower for best results. You can find these essential oils at most health foods stores or online. Go with a reputable brand like Aura Cacia, Doterra, Veriditas Botanicals, Springfield, New Directions, or Young Living. Essential oils from any of these companies will work well, though they have different price points. You can also buy a pre-made product especially for pre- and post-workout circulation and skin health, like either of these that I provide at my online store: Cellulite Detox Body Oil, and Sore-No-More™. Both reduce the appearance of stretch marks very quickly when used properly.
